24 hours Emergency Towing and Minor Roadside Repair
In the event that the registered vehicle is immobilised due to accident or breakdown, the Member may contact Asia Assistance 24-hour Alarm Centre for immediately assistance. Should it be deemed possibble by Asia Assistance and/or its mechanics to provide Minor Roadside Repair, Asia Assistance shall arrange for such repair. In the event it is not possible to repair the car on site, Asia Assistance shall arrange to tow the said vehicle to the nearest repair and service centre.
Asia Assistance shall organise and pay for the towing and or labour cost for roadside repair up to a maximum of RM300.00 per event. In the event that the Minor Roadside Repair services were not provided, the total limit of towing services to be paid by Asia Assistance shall be RM 300.00. Should the total towing charges exceed RM 300.00, the Member shall pay the additional towing charges incurred.
Asia Assistance shall not be responsible for any costs incurred for any spare parts, batteries or petrol required during Minor Roadside Repairs.
All costs incurred for Toll charges if any shall be borne directly by the Member.
Territorial Limits
The 24 hours emrgency towing services and minor roadside repair shall be available in the event the registered vehicle is immobilised anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia excluding the Island except for Penang and Langkawi.
In East Malaysia, services shall be available within 25 Km radius of all the major towns or along the Pan Borneo Highway and on the island of Labuan.
Car Rental Assistance
Should the Member require a replacement car in the event of a breakdown or accident involving the registered vehicle, Asia Assistand shall assist the Member to make arrangement for car rental. The cost of car rental shall be borne by the Member.
Arrangement for Hotel Accomodation
In the event of breakdown or accident involving the registered vehicleand should the Member require hotel accomodation, Asia Assistance shall assist the Member to organize hotel reservations. The cost incurred for such hotel accomodation shall be borne by the Member.
Referral to Service Centre
The Member may contact Asia Assistance for referral to the nearest repair and service centre for car servicing or repair. Asia Assistance shall arrange for prior appointment for the Member if so required. All costsincurred shall be borne by the Memberif so required. All costs incurred shall be borne by the Member.
Emergency Message Transmission
In the event of breakdown or accident involving the registered vehicle, Asia Assistance shall endeavour to keep the Member's family informed upon request.
Exceptions

Cost of parts, batteries or petrol during minor roadside repair. |

If the registered vehicle is or has been modified for participation in rally and racing, or if the registered vehicle has been modified againt government regulations. |
• |
Service provision outside the territorial limits. |
• |
Failure of the Insured/Driver and/or Passenger of the registered vehicle to take reasonable precautions or to follow warnings of any intended strike, riot or civil commotion via the mass media. |
• |
Any illegal or unlawful act by the Insured/Driver and/or Passenger of the registered vehicle to take reasonable precautions or to follow warnings of any intended strike, riot or civil commotion via the mass media. |
• |
Any commercial vehicle. |
• |
When the car keys are not available or is locked inside the car. |
• |
Towing of vehicle for the purpose of disposing the vehicle. |
• |
Towing of a vehicle for the purpose of transferring the registered vehicle from one workshop to another. |
• |
Not valid road tax disc displayed on the registered vehicle. |
• |
Towing a stolen vehicle that was recovered or abandoned vehicle. Vehicle thah has been dismantled fully or partly in a workshop. |
